Amateur Radio Basic Qualification Course 

The Richmond Amateur Radio Club is offering a course for those persons interested in obtaining their amateur radio certification.  This licence will permit successful students to own and operate their own amateur radio station.

Place:                        Steveston Community Centre, 4111 Moncton Street, Richmond V7E3A8

Course Duration:   October 1, 2011 to November 26, 2011 Seven Saturdays for instruction and one for discussion and the government examination (There is no class on October 8).

Time:                         9:00am to 12:30pm (8:45am on October 1st for registration)

Study Material:       Study Manual for the Basic Exam 8th Edition. Students need to bring a calculator (scientific calculator preferred, but not essential).

Course Fee:            Ninety-five dollars ($95). This fee includes all study material, and the Industry Canada examination.
